Georgia began learning the industry’s pearls while working with the well-known plastic surgeon and best-selling author Jerome Lamb, MD, in his state-of-art surgery center and medical spa in 1999. Her passion for safe patient care, combined with her talented aesthetic eye, allowed her to combine science and art to become an aesthetic injections expert. 

In 2005, Georgia joined a dermatology practice, treating patients in Leawood, KS, and in 2006 adding Lee’s Summit, MO.  This transition allowed her to add laser and skincare treatments to her services menu, providing a full continuum of care to patients within this well-known dermatology center. Georgia’s work allowed her to treat thousands of patients in the Kansas City market every year, becoming the largest provider of Allergan products in the area.

Philosophy

Powerful Mother-Daughter Duo

Georgia opened Georgeous Aesthetic Bar in October 2019 with her daughter, Mary Kate. The duo cultivated a close relationship while Mary Kate was growing up and showing horses, and they would drive to shows together two to three weekends a month. The open communication they developed serves them well now in their working relationship. Mary Kate runs the business side, while Georgia is the medspa expert.

Mary Kate encouraged Georgia to open Georgous Aesthetic Bar. “She’s opened up a couple of medspa and skincare practices for other people,” said Mary Kate. “I was like, ‘Well, you’ve done this for other people, why not for yourself?’” Mary Kate has a degree in business administration, emphasizing management, from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a background of working with nonprofits and associations. Her knowledge, paired with her mother’s extensive experience, made the timing of opening their aesthetic bar seem just right.
